Malawi Muslim Poets Making Headlines

Malawi muslim poets continue showcasing their  talent in the poetry industry to reach thousand Muslims and non-Muslims  through the art.

This has been discovered in a video  poem which is yet to be released in the country.

Speaking in an interview one of the Lilongwe based Muslim poets Yusuf Abubakar said that this is his first video poem since the journey of composing poems and he hopes that people will support him after releasing the new poem.

“I had no any decision of coming up with a video poem soon, but people are pressuring me to produce the video when they saw my talent in the audio which I released early this year, that is why I tried my best that the video should be massive,” said Abubaker.

The poem which is titled “ Amayi”  is appreciating the duties which women do to their children  and why it is good for every human being to love and respect  his or her mother.

“As the Islamic teachings taught us that we should love and respect our mothers, that is why I decided to come up with the video poem so that I should encourage my fellow youth the goodness of loving a mother just because of the duties that mothers hold when upbringing their children in the society,"

"In  addition to that though I am a Muslim but “Amayi” poem represent every woman in the world whether a Muslim or not. That is why even in the making of the poem I considered both Muslims and non-Muslims to take part in it because I know that the message is going to everyone." He explained.

Poet Abubakar the assured his followers that he is cooking a number of poems to make them happy.

Since his aim is to bring good staffs to the masses, this Muslim poet takes time for him to come up with new poems.

The poem which is shot by Mzati multimedia is expected to be released this month.
