Sheikh Ibrahim Fickirah, the Coordinator of Lilongwe Islamic Information Bureau has asked Malawi Muslim artists to use their talent wisely to spread the religion of Allah, Islam. Sheikh Fickirah made the remarks during Muslim Artists Seminar organised by Muslim Artists Association held on Sunday  at Islamic Information Bureau in Malawi's Capital, Lilongwe. "Everything in this world moves better with talent, even preaching itself needs talent." "If Almighty Allah gave you talent use it wisely. By: Vincent Gunde Malenga- No one is born a politician  Malawian student studying Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication in Uganda, has asked Malawians not to cast benefits of doubts at Dr. Saulos Klaus Chilima's choice of picking Dr. Michael Bizwick Usi as running mate to the Tripartite elections. Dr.  Usi's candidature as running mate has been underrated by a cross section of Malawians who are connecting him to his artistic drama production in Tikuferanji programmes as Manganya or abambo a Sikono, both on radio and Television. Bright Malenga, who is undergoing his studies  at the Islamic University in Uganda, said Dr. Usi can only be argued to be incompetent vice president if he was using some words that were intended to divide Malawians. Malenga said Dr. Usi would have been described as a failure if is attached to any scandal that can dent his image but this has not happened. "Alaphiat Kombo" Releases New Nasheed Titled "Al-quraan"

Speaking in an interview with Islamic Information Kit, Kombo said that the nasheed is about the final book of Allah (God) Al-quraan that was sent to mankind through His last prophet Muhammad (May Peace Be Upon Him). "The nasheed 'Al- quraan' is all about the holy book Al-quraan which Allah revealed to His beloved messenger, Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him)." "I mainly attached the benefits of Al-quraan as an answer, the healer, the protecter and the guider, I also emphasised that this book has everything and no any other book can be compered to it," Alaphiat said. "Mizikiti ichoke" Singer in Hot Soup: Police Condemns the Malpractice

Mesho By: Bright Malenga, Chief Editor. Malawi Police Service (MPs), have condemned the malpractice shown by a singer called "Mesho." "Mesho" whose his real name is Andson Alfred released a song titled "Mizikiti Ichoke" attacking Malawi Muslims. In a statement issued by MPs Spokesperson James Kadadzela , the singer is under investigation for singing a song which is likely to spark violence among religious groups in th country. MPs has further warned Malawians to desist from acts that are likely to harm human rights of others. The song did not go well with Malawi Muslims. The Muslim community through their  body Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM) reported the issue to Policw that led to "Mesho's" arrest few days ago in Mulanje district.

My father is from MACHINGA and my mother is from NKHOTAKOTA. When I  am asked where I am from is,  I say Nkhotakota because I like the district.
